There are a few ways to get a page on the internet. Let's look at a place to put your page first. Here are some options:

SPACE PROVIDED BY YOUR ISP:
In some cases, if you have a dial up account (how you get onto the internet) most ISP's will provide you with space to put up a website. Your URL (web page address) will be something like http://www.identities.montana.com/~yourusername. (getting the page written is up to you)

FREE WEB SPACE:
There are also free places to get web page space on the internet, a few are listed below:

ANGELFIRE , CROSSWINDS , FORTUNECITY , GEOCITIES , HOMESTEAD , TRIPOD

To name a few. Some have web editors to help you write your own page, and some have great options. But if you don't have the time or ambition to write your own page, get in touch with me! Not only can I write your page, but I can find a place to have it posted. There are two bad things I have found about going with these free sites.

1. Your website address (URL) is so long, and if you have a business, it has nothing to do with your business. For example: http://www.angelfire.com/members/yourcompanyname

2. They also post a banner on your web page advertising THEIR site. WHY advertise for them??? Also the pop up banners are ANNOYING!

YOUR OWN DOMAIN: (My personal choice)
There is another option you may wish to consider, and that is getting your own DOMAIN! The main differences here include: cost of course, your URL, the amount of space you can use to put up a page, and the options you get with it. Your domain name is: http://www.yourcompanyname.com (availability permitting) there are also other ways to do it including (.net , .ca), so there is a good chance we can find the name you want. The cost of Domains is as follows:

Domain Registration Fee: $9.95/Year
Domain Hosting Fee: Starting at: $6.95/Month
