Greetings!

I made it here finally. It was a good 4-5 day journey. We got to stop in Ireland for a couple of hours. 
I consumed my last alcoholic beverage. (my favorite, Scrumpy Jacks cider) I live in a trailer with a 
roommate. She's from my base. We don't have a bathroom in our room. So every time we have to use in 
the restroom while we are sleeping, we have to get in uniform and walk about 150 paces to the bathroom. 
The toilets are in one building and the showers are in another. We are only allowed to drink bottled 
water here. It's hard to get the hang of of taking a bottle of water with you to the bathroom to brush 
your teeth when there is already running water. I am working on night shift right now. I work from 
9:30pm - 9:30am. We haven't had a day off yet and I'm not sure when we'll get our first one. It's 
really hot here!!! I have been sweating to death here! I'm not sure how hot it is. 

We have four dining facilities here. One is really nice. They actually serve Baskin-Robbins icecream 
in the dining hall. Talk about trying to have some self-control I am just finishing up my training, 
although I am constantly thinking of questions to ask to the "seasoned" folks. I think I will get 
the hang of it. 


Anyways, I just wanted to let you all know that I am safe and that I miss and love you!!!
