Hi Gang, Wow, our replacements made it here this morning and in just a few hours time will be coming to work to get trained. It’s finally here. I will be leaving Iraq in the next two days. I am excited, but won’t be truly elated until I’m on that airplane with the wheels in the air. I hope to be home to Wichita Falls by Tuesday afternoon if all goes well. Tonight was our last mission without the new crew there. I think it was the happiest/saddest mission ever. We were all there anxiously waiting to unload our litter patients off of the bus onto the C-17 aircraft. I looked at almost each and every person and savored who there were and the memories I had with them. It’s been an incredible five months away from home, but I’m really ready to get home to J.W. and the kids. This will probably be my last entry while I am here in Iraq. I just want to thank you all one last time for all of the continued support you have given me while I have been away. It means the world to me. In the sanity department, I have ran a total 211 miles, read over 6,000 pages of books, watched 154 episodes of TV shows, played countless games of Scrabble and made life long friends. It’s been such a nice break from the daily rat race. Anyways wish us luck on our travels back to U.S. soil and I look forward to hearing and seeing you in the near future. Thanks again!! Love Always, Dandy Smiley Face Aaron
